I will never tire of nights like Maddie & Austin’s wedding at The Gardenia- joyful, intentional, & romantic. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly planned and made the entire night so memorable. Maddie is the first of 4 daughters in her family to get married (there are two sets of twin girls, so she is a twin). As the first to get married, this was really a very special family affair. Speaking of family, both Maddie and Austin’s family were so kind and welcomed me in like family. I am always so grateful that I am able to work with such amazing couples like this who are so kind and gracious. I even had the chance to do a bridal session with Maddie, which turned out beautifully!

The wedding weekend kicked off with a gorgeous rehearsal dinner at Al Biernat’s in Dallas, Texas. The dinner featured a romantic candle-lit dinner followed by tearful speeches. There were so many memories made that night, and I am happy I had the opportunity to capture those on camera for the beautiful couple to look back on.

Finally, it was their wedding day! Maddie and Austin chose to do a first look. I love first looks not only for the beautiful photos we get to capture but for the special moments that the couple gets to share alone together. Getting the jitters out and having a moment to be together before walking down the aisle is always a good idea in my opinion!

When it was time for the ceremony, they had a full house filled with family and friends there to celebrate their love story. After the ceremony, the party started at the reception! The entire day, from start to finish was so much FUN!!! I mean come on, when you bust out matching Nike husband & wife shoes for dancing, you know it’s going to be a good night! The live band played all of their favorite songs into the night as they made memories with their friends and family!
