I absolutely loved shooting Meagan + Reid’s anniversary session in Charleston, South Carolina. I photographed Meagan + Reid’s wedding day in 2018. It was so much fun getting to shoot their anniversary session as well. The session came about because they were taking a trip to Charleston and it just so happened that I would be in the Lowcountry at the same time. Since it worked out so perfectly, we decided to make a photo session happen! These were the first photos they’ve had since their wedding, so it was fun to capture them as husband and wife.

Anniversary Session in Charleston

We ended up spending the entire day together, exploring the city. Charleston is so beautiful and there are so many places to capture beautiful moments. It felt like hanging out with old friends and that I just so happened to have my camera and be in one of the most gorgeous places in the south! Meagan & Reid are two kind, joyful, goofy, and amazing people! Apart, they’re great, but together, they’re even better!!! You’re bound to keep a smile on, quote Friends (or The Office in Reid’s case), and laugh until your cheeks hurt, which we did.

For the shoot, Meagan wore an adorable bright green dress which really popped against all the vibrant colors in the city and complimented the gorgeous greenery from the trees. Reid went with a simple white button-down shirt and jeans which paired well with Meagan’s dress. We shot at a few different locations. We were able to get a few in at the famous Pineapple Fountain as well as in front of the beautiful pink building facades around the city.

The Lowcountry is one of my favorite places to travel for work, so it was so much fun that we made these photos happen and created more memories together! I love traveling and getting chances to capture beautiful people in beautiful places. Whether you are at home in Tulsa or traveling to the Lowcountry, I would love to photograph the two of you!
