Jack & Bailey’s Southern Hills Proposal

Some moments feel extra special to photograph, and this was one of them.

I’ve known Bailey since she was a senior in high school. Over the years, I’ve photographed her senior photos, including her brother’s wedding. Getting to be there for this chapter felt incredibly full circle. Watching someone grow up and then documenting the moment they say “yes” to forever is something I’ll never take for granted!

A Southern Hills Proposal

Jack planned the sweetest proposal at Southern Hills Country Club, choosing a quiet spot under the iconic clock tower. It was intimate, intentional, and completely them. Bailey was truly surprised, and the emotion on her face when Jack popped the question is one of those moments you don’t forget.

There was no rush. Just a pause in time, happy tears, and the start of something new.

Family, Champagne, and So Much Joy

But the surprises didn’t stop there.

As soon as she said yes, their families stepped in with hugs, happy tears, and a champagne toast. It felt like a movie scene—joyful, emotional, and full of love. These are the moments I love most. The laughter. The tight hugs. The way everyone leaned in just a little closer.

Proposals like this are a reminder that photographs aren’t just about the question being asked. They’re about the people who helped shape the couple standing there and the celebration that follows.
