Photographing David and Claire for their downtown Tulsa engagement session was a pleasure! These two are laidback and playful, and they brought that vibe to their engagement session. I third-wheeled as they enjoyed a stroll through the downtown parks and city streets and even grabbed a bite to eat. We had so much fun together, and I can’t wait for their wedding day!

A Perfect Match

David and Claire have one of those “when you know, you know” love stories. Although they’ve been together just two years, they fell head over heels and said “I love you” within a few months of knowing each other. They bonded over a shared love of being active together, especially playing tennis and golf. In addition, Claire enjoyed learning about David’s culture—he is half Korean and half Persian!

However, David and Claire’s favorite thing to enjoy together is food. They love watching Food Network shows, visiting new restaurants, and cooking for each other. It’s no surprise that Korean food has become Claire’s favorite! Accordingly, the couple knew they had to incorporate their love of food into their engagement session.

Downtown Tulsa Engagement Session

Tulsa foodies know and love Andolini’s Pizzeria. Serving pizza by the slice and dozens of mouthwatering gelato flavors, it’s basically the best of both worlds. It also made the perfect pitstop for David and Claire’s downtown Tulsa engagement session! The couple stopped in for a slice each, then decided to go back for a cup of creamy gelato. The images of them sharing their ice cream are the cutest!

Afterward, the couple continued their stroll through Tulsa’s iconic Deco District. As the sun began setting and the city lights started to glow, the evening had such a magical feeling! David and Claire goofed around and laughed together, and I had so much fun capturing them.
