I have been so excited to capture Tom and Nguyen’s wedding at Holy Family Cathedral and Spain Ranch. I had the absolute pleasure of being able to do an engagement session with these two before their wedding. During their dreamy engagement session at Woodward Park and Antoinette Bakery, I really got to know these two as a couple. I have been eagerly awaiting their wedding day and it could not have turned out more perfectly once it arrived.

To kick off their celebration, the day before the wedding they hosted a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. The Vietnamese Tea Ceremony combines the union of the two families while honoring the parents, family, and the family’s ancestors and relatives. I was honored to be part of this ceremony which is such an important part of their culture. It was beautiful to see their two families coming together as one before the wedding day.

Once the big day arrived, it was INCREDIBLE from start to finish! From the very beginning of the day, we ran *ahead* of schedule which makes me, as a wedding photographer, very happy! We started the day off with some fun photographs of the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready together! Nguyen wore a stunning fitted gown by Alyssa Kristin which fit her like a glove. Once she was ready, she and Tom shared a first-look moment together before they walked down the aisle. They also exchanged a few loving words with each other which is always such a special memory for just the two of them to share.

Finally, it was time for the ceremony to begin. They walked down the aisle at Holy Family Cathedral which was an absolutely magnificent venue for a wedding ceremony. After they exchanged their vows, it was time to head to their reception at one of my favorite venues, Spain Ranch. Their reception space was beautifully decorated and draped by Daniel Weir Design who did a fantastic job. As soon as these two made their grand entrance into their beautiful reception space, the party really started! They had the time of their lives dancing their hearts out on the dance floor. Halfway through the night, Nguyen changed into a short party dress which really set the tone that the fun was just getting started!

Overall, their big day was so perfect. From running ahead of schedule to the amazing weather that lasted all day – it really was an absolute dream of a wedding day for these two! I am just so happy we got to be a part of it. There is nothing more that I love than getting to share in my couple’s most special day and being able to capture memories for them that they will cherish for a lifetime together.
