Zach and Lizzy’s wedding at Sparrow Beginnings was such an elegant celebration from start to finish. Lizzy and Zach are the kind of couple you instantly love and know they’re the real deal. They have been together for a little over a year and a half but were friends way longer! Lizzy liked Zach for almost a year before he asked her on a date. He is very slow to do things and likes to really think things through and she was DYING for him to ask her on a date and they have been together ever since.
The proposal happened in Stillwater when Lizzy was in Stillwater visiting friends when they went to the house she used to live in. She walked in and Zach was there and they went somewhere in Stillwater where he proposed! Then they went to Zach’s parent’s house where there was a surprise party with friends and family. It was such a fun day and so special – well done Zach!
Their beautiful wedding at Sparrow Beginnings ran completely AHEAD of schedule, there was NEVER a stressful moment (yes you’re reading this right) and I truly believe it’s directly related to the genuine joy and focus being on the two of them getting married and realizing everything else is just a supporting role of that in the day.
Lizzy got ready with her bridesmaids, who were SO much fun. They made me feel like an instant old friend. I loved spending the day with them! Lizzy wore a gorgeous gown from Essence of Australia. I even got to photograph the tiara that was worn by Lizzy’s mom and grandmother on both of their wedding days.
There were so many personal moments throughout their wedding day. Both had their wedding party pray over them before the day started, which was so beautiful to photograph. And Lizzy’s first look with her with her dad was so emotional – there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! Their ceremony was so beautiful to witness as they tied the knot in front of their family and friends.
Similar to Brock and Riley, Lizzy and Zach had a bounce house at their reception. They jumped right on as soon as it was set up, and some of my favorite images from the night are from them playing around. You can really just see the pure joy on their faces! Afterward, they had an incredible reception filled with dinner and lots of dancing.
I love wedding photography, but what I love most is connecting with the couples I photograph. These two reminded me just how much I love my job and getting to be a small part of making my couple’s wedding dreams come true. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, be sure to reach out! I would love to chat about working together to bring your vision for your big day to life!
