I was having a conversation with a friend recently about how much time we really have in a day that goes to our phones. The average adult in America spends at least 4 hours on their phone. That’s half of your work day!!! And about 86 HOURS PER MONTH! What?! According to the A.C. Nielsen […]
I don’t think we’re ever given a perfect year. There’s no way to put a pin in what the absolute best day of your life is, and honestly there’s no way for me to share every Best of 2017 moment with you. It’s not me being a pessimist, but just believing that our best days […]
As I was putting the final edits on my new site today, tears filled my eyes as I read the words. Thinking back to the end of my senior year of high-school when I photographed my first wedding with my little crop sensor camera. I told everyone I wanted to photograph weddings…well here I am, […]
I have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I think back on my senior year frequently. I think back on juggling school, being social, and also trying to plan out the rest of my life. No big deal. I think back on how important the voices speaking in my life were. How I thought that what my teachers, peers, and ALL the college reps thought about my choices mattered. How vulnerable I was to whatever could come my way…
Today Micah and I celebrate two years of wedded bliss. TWO YEARS. That’s pretty much a professional level now, right? I’d love to sit and tell you I’ve learned everything there is to know about marriage, but we all know, I’m far off with lots to learn…
Today is a BIG DAY for my friend Hannah. After all this time, she just released her first FULL EP!!! Hannah and I go back. Way back. Like 8th grade volleyball practice, back. We’ve been best friends for going on almost 9 years, which seems so crazy.
Wedding weekends are always exciting. Especially when the rain clears by 100%, the skies open up & the ceremony is overlooking a lake when the sun setting behind them…BUT I’LL SAVE THAT FOR THE WEDDING BLOG 😉 Wedding weekends are EVEN more exciting when there’s a bridal session that’s been in hiding, unable to be shared with the world…and it’s pretty painful to hold back reeeeeally pretty pictures, especially these of Lindsay.
Wedding season kicked off RIIIIGHT in the middle of tax season and in the middle of everything-in-the-world season. BUT, in the midst of what could’ve sent me into a losing my mind spiral (which is WAY too soon to go into…it’s only April y’all! ;)) my mom suggested a girls trip with my sister & I to Waco, Texas.
It’s that time of year and I am SO excited to announce the opening of 2018 senior spokesmodel applications-YAY! The Holly Felts spokesmodel team is a group of local high school seniors that represent the face of Holly Felts Photography for the duration of their senior year. Spokesmodels are chosen through an application process and receive countless perks including participation in photoshoots, digital images to share on social media, complimentary hair and makeup, group activities and events, cash bonuses, swag bags, styled shoots and more!
First of all, let’s celebrate that Gabby is now a MRS!!! I spent the past weekend laughing, photographing, and dancing the night away at Gabby & John’s gorgeous wedding at The Springs Event Venue! I could talk on and on about how wonderful their day was, but I’ll save that for their wedding post!!!! 😉
