Planning a wedding from out of town can be a challenge, but Zak’s sweet mother made it an absolute joy. She reached out to me with such warmth and thoughtfulness, and from the moment we connected on the phone, I knew this was going to be a special family. When I finally met Caitlin and Zak, it felt like reconnecting with old friends. Their warmth, kindness, and easygoing energy made capturing their love story a genuine pleasure.
Caitlin and Zak are adventurers at heart. They love to travel and spend time driving their sprinter van across the country, so incorporating that passion into their wedding photos was a must. While their beloved dog Honey couldn’t join the festivities, her spirit was present in thoughtful details like custom napkins featuring her sweet face.
Opting for a more intimate wedding, Caitlin and Zak skipped the grandeur of a big celebration in favor of a weekend that truly reflected who they are. Their ceremony at Saint John’s Episcopal Church was heartfelt and timeless, followed by a lovely lunch with family and close friends at the iconic Polo Grill in Tulsa.
Caitlin and Zak’s decision to focus on family and simplicity is a testament to how meaningful smaller celebrations can be. Their intimate wedding in Tulsa at Southern Hills Country Club captured the essence of their love story and created cherished memories for everyone involved.
