Greg was immediately drawn to her, but Carolyn (allegedly) ignored him for a few days while she enjoyed a trip with friends in Charlotte. When she finally got back to him, fate threw another curveball—she got SICK! That, however, didn’t deter Greg, who eagerly met her for beers a week later. He was particularly impressed that she drove from Beaufort to Savannah on a Wednesday just to meet him. And the rest, as they say, is history.
