This engagement is so gorgeous, it was so hard picking my favorite images! Mckenzie is a bride who knows what she wants…so much so that she booked me TWO YEARS before her & Peyton’s wedding date! She knew we would be the perfect fit together, and it’s been a blast working with this sweet couple. After almost two full years of wedding planning, McKenzie & Peyton will be married at The Philbrook Museum this August…which is where we headed to kick off the wedding year for their engagement session!

The Philbrook Museum is absolutely gorgeous and so romantic. This really is one of the most beautiful spots in Oklahoma. With 25 acres, there are so many sweet spots we can use for portraits, both for engagement sessions and on the wedding day! We took time exploring the grounds, and the two had so much fun. They couldn’t stop cuddling up and giving each other kisses, which is a photographer’s dream come true.

Romantic Engagement Session at Philbrook Museum

They wore three different outfits, so they had a ton of options to share with family and friends! I love how stylish they both are, and McKenzie has the best wardrobe! Her hot pink dress was just so cute, and her dusty blue dress was also a favorite. Peyton had a few button-down shirts, with a suit jacket, so he could mix up his outfits as well. And McKenzie made sure to pamper herself beforehand, which I always tell my brides to do! She got a blowout at Tulsa Drybar, and had her makeup done for the session, so she could test out her wedding day look.

This session felt like a celebration of their new fresh year ahead: new jobs, new home, their WEDDING, & a lot of unsettled things finally starting to find their place. The couple have been long-distance for the last two years, and Peyton finally found a job in Oklahoma, so they are so excited to be together again. McKenzie started her dietetic internship earlier this year, so they both have gone through so much this year! But this new chapter is going to be so incredible for them both.
