Austin + Emilee are honestly just the sweetest couple around. They opted out of the big wedding day for a quiet, intimate wedding with their family and closest friends. Emilee spent the day getting ready to be a bride with her momma and I can’t think of anything more special than a momma & daughter who find such friendship in one another!

When I arrived at the venue, Emilee was like all brides, giddy-anxious-excited-nervous-and just plain ready to be married to the love of her life. “I just love that I’m not stressed about keeping everyone happy or entertained. It’s just been family today and I love that,” Emilee told me before we got her into her (stunning) wedding dress.

Let’s also talk about how you NEVER know how Oklahoma weather is going to be – well, Austin + Emilee had literally the PERFECT day!!!! Seriously, I never even broke a sweat! There was a cool breeze, blue skies, and just the perfect Oklahoma sunset at Barn at The Woods to complete this day. I am so grateful for these two and their family for having me out to capture this special, special day. My heart was so blessed by the hospitality, laughs, and times we all shared together!!

This detail was so so special. Photos of her two grandfathers who weren’t here physically, but walked the aisle with Emilee tied around lace from her mother’s wedding dress…oh my heart!!!

I loved that Em’s grandmother’s were in the room watching her get dressed! They were so so excited to see their granddaughter get dressed. I smiled and thought of what a precious time this was, since neither of my grandma’s were present at my own wedding. I love these moments.

92, on hospice, but a big drive to see beautiful Emilee marry Austin. There is so much here that I love!

And she absolutely did NOT want to sit in the wheelchair for a picture – she stood up long enough to snap a few photos and told us she didn’t expect to have her photograph taken…but I told her how could we not when she was dressed up and looked so nice?!

Austin + Emilee were married on May 4, 2018. Austin picked the day, “he knew he could never forget” haha! So subtle little Star Wars signs and cakes were the perfect touch!

Emilee also surprised Austin after they were announced as Mr. & Mrs. Randell with an exit to the theme song! He was excited, of course!
