Wedding season kicked off RIIIIGHT in the middle of tax season and in the middle of everything-in-the-world season. BUT, in the midst of what could’ve sent me into a losing my mind spiral (which is WAY too soon to go into…it’s only April y’all! ;)) my mom suggested a girls trip with my sister & I to Waco, Texas.

And away we went.

Texas just feels like a home away from home. From family trips, photographing gorgeous Texas weddings like Sarah & Nate’s or Lindsay & Tj’s, eating #ALLTHETHINGS at Uncle Julio’s, and hitting up one of my favorite outlets ever in Allen, Texas…You could say I have this thing for Texas.

Of course Waco was the pick for none other than MAGNOLIA!!!! Which by the way if you haven’t gone, go to your calendar now, pick your dates and JUST GO. I mean shopping, cupcakes, blooms and more…what else do you need?! I mean really.

It may or may not have rained 99.7% of the time we were there, but that didn’t stop us (thanks to the amazing folks at Magnolia for passing out our stylish ponchos.)

If you’re looking for a fun girls trip, Waco is the stop for you! We enjoyed local dinners, shops and a MUST-stop coffee shop, Common Grounds for a delicious Cowboy Coffee. Ugh, can they amazon prime that to my house, like now?
