How Chandler & Will Met

Chandler and Will’s love story proves fate works in mysterious ways. They both attended Clemson University but never met, even while living in adjacent apartments. Chandler met some of Will’s close friends during grad school, who introduced them at a tailgate. They kept in touch and occasionally saw each other in Atlanta and Charlotte. Eventually, their friendship turned into a relationship. After dating long distance for a year and a half, Chandler moved to Charlotte to start their next chapter together.

A Dreamy Lowcountry Wedding at Colleton River Club

Colleton River Club provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding. This venue offers picturesque waterfront views, centuries-old oak trees, and timeless Southern charm, creating a fairytale setting.
Sincerely Yours Events planned the wedding, bringing their vision to life with soft blue tones, delicate florals, and elegant details that complemented the coastal surroundings. Chandler’s gown, a custom creation, transformed into three unique looks throughout the day.

Personal Touches & Unforgettable Moments

Every wedding is unique, but Chandler and Will made sure to weave in personal touches that made their day even more special:

• A Taylor Swift Surprise – While Taylor wasn’t able to attend, Chandler’s mom pulled off an incredible surprise by bringing a life-sized cutout of Taylor to the reception! It made for some of the most fun and memorable photos of the night.
• Friendship Bracelets for Every Guest – Inspired by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tradition, Chandler and Will gifted their guests with personalized friendship bracelets, making everyone feel like part of their love story.
