There’s something truly magical about a wedding that radiates love, joy, and a splash of vibrant color. Matt and Taylor’s wedding at The Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa was exactly that—a day full of unforgettable moments, a breathtaking backdrop, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Taylor and Matt’s story began in the summer of 2021 at a piano bar, where a serendipitous moment brought them together. Taylor, out with friends, found herself drawn to Matt, who was having the time of his life as “Goodbye Earl” by The Chicks filled the room. His first words to her? How much he loved the song. From there, their connection was instant, and by the end of the week, they were on their first date.
Fast forward to their wedding day, and it was clear that their love had only deepened, glowing as brightly as Taylor’s smile—a smile that lit up every room she entered.
The Mayo Hotel, with its timeless elegance and modern charm, provided the perfect setting for Matt and Taylor’s big day. From the moment Taylor slipped into her stunning gown, her excitement was infectious. Her smile, paired with her dazzling reception dress, was unforgettable.
One of the most touching parts of the day was Taylor’s heartfelt gesture to her parents. She gifted them each something special before the ceremony, and watching their reactions was a privilege—an emotional moment that left no dry eye in the room.
As the day transitioned to evening, we headed to the rooftop of The Mayo Hotel for portraits. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect—the Tulsa skyline bathed in golden hues from the most incredible sunset. Matt and Taylor’s love was palpable, making those rooftop moments feel intimate and cinematic. Capturing their laughter and connection against that vibrant backdrop was truly a highlight of the day.
The reception was a celebration in every sense of the word. Surrounded by friends and family, Matt and Taylor danced, laughed, and enjoyed every second of their new chapter together. Taylor’s reception dress was a showstopper—perfect for a night filled with energy and joy.
Matt and Taylor’s wedding was more than just a beautiful event; it was a testament to their love story and the people who have supported them along the way. From their serendipitous first meeting at a piano bar to the heartfelt vows exchanged at The Mayo Hotel, every detail of their day was a celebration of their unique journey together.
Taylor and Matt, thank you for letting me be part of your incredible day. Your love is inspiring, and I’m so excited for all the adventures that lie ahead for you both!
