As a wedding photographer, every love story unfolds uniquely, and Fletcher and Nicole’s journey was no exception. Having previously photographed the magic of Nicole’s sister, Anne Marie’s wedding in Amelia Island in 2019, I was thrilled to once again be back with their family to capture Fletcher and Nicole’s big weekend. From the charming streets of Columbia, South Carolina, where we captured their dreamy engagements, to the grand finale under the dreamy oak-adorned reception tent in Amelia Island – every moment felt like out of a storybook!
The Island is very special to Nicole & her family, as she grew up spending countless summers, holidays, and just-because trips with her family here. It was the perfect location to bring all of Nicole & Fletcher’s loved ones to celebrate! Amelia Island has a timeless charm, coupled with the ocean breeze and sandy shores, setting the stage for a wedding that would be etched in the couple’s hearts forever.
Nicole’s choice of natural florals added a touch of elegance to the day. The vibrant colors complemented the coastal surroundings, creating a visual masterpiece that mirrored the beauty of their love.
One of the highlights was the reception tent nestled under the grand oak trees. The energy was palpable, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration. As the sun set and the fairy lights illuminated the tent, it became a magical space where love and laughter danced hand in hand.
Fletcher and Nicole’s wedding was a testament to love, joy, and the beauty that unfolds when two souls come together. As a destination wedding photographer, being part of their journey from engagements in Columbia to the oak-adorned reception in Amelia Island was a privilege.
