Baxter and Madison’s engagement session in Scottsdale was so fun! I had the best time getting to know these two. They were so welcoming from the moment I arrived, and we even grabbed margaritas and queso after their session (yum!). 

As a Tulsa-based wedding photographer, I love photographing couples in my beautiful hometown. But I also LOVE to travel! Flying out to Arizona to meet new people, snap engagement photos in the desert, and eat some darn good Mexican food is the stuff I live for. Engagement Session in Scottsdale

Baxter and Madison initially contacted me because their wedding will be at the Mayo Hotel in Tulsa later this year. However, they currently live in Scottsdale, and they wanted their engagement photos to reflect the chapter of their lives spent there. It was so fun to visit their current home and capture a portion of their love story at this exciting time in their relationship!

One thing’s for sure: these two are a perfect fit. Our time together was full of laughter, and the images couldn’t be sweeter. You can see their love for each other in the expressions on their faces in every photo! Not to mention, the desert landscape outside Scottsdale was straight-up dreamy. At golden hour, it made the perfect backdrop!

Fun and Flirty Style

I loved Baxter and Madison’s fashion choices for their session! Their outfits reflected their personalities so well. Baxter wore a navy blue suit jacket with jeans for the casual portion of the session, then changed into a midnight blue suit for a “date night”-inspired look. Meanwhile, Madison wore two flirty floral mini-dresses. The first had puff sleeves and gorgeous pink, lilac, and orange watercolor-inspired florals. Then, she changed into a white ruffled number with a blue floral pattern to match Baxter’s suit. They looked amazing together!
