I have been so excited about Drew and Cantlin’s black-and-white wedding at Spain Ranch! Ever since their beautiful engagement session in Tulsa, I’ve come to really love these two! They are really one of those couples that make you feel so loved. After spending time with them, they really just feel like family. As a wedding photographer, I am so lucky to be able to work with such incredible couples like this!

Drew and Cantlin’s love story

These two are high school sweethearts and now husband & wife!  They met at the age of 14 in middle school Spanish class. They dated through high school and college. After an amazing 9 years of dating, we finally got engaged. Drew proposed on Rosemary Beach, Florida back in 2021. They went to dinner and their family took a walk on the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunset.  While they were on the beach, Drew asked Cantlin to be his wife. And now it is time for them to finally tie the knot!

Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Cantlin wore a stunning a-line gown designed by Truvelle that looked just perfect on her. Her bridesmaids wore matching crepe, black-ash gowns from Birdy Grey. We had so much fun taking photos with the bridal party, but before that, Cantlin and Drew did their first look. This is one of my favorite moments to capture on the wedding day. It was also one of the most beautiful Fall days in Tulsa, which provided such a beautiful backdrop for all of their golden hour portraits.

After their first look and a few portraits, it was time for them to walk down the aisle and tie the knot. Cantlin’s father walked her down the aisle. I love making snap a photo of the groom as he sees the bride walking down the aisle toward him. Drew’s face lit up, and it is such a great photo for them both to have to look back on.

After their beautiful wedding ceremony, it was time for the reception. The black and white wedding details really set the tone of classic elegance that guests could expect throughout the evening. I absolutely loved the timeless and chic details of their reception. No detail went unnoticed, which comes as no surprise when you have Ever Something planning & taking care of the styling & details. Everyone had such an incredible time dancing the night away. Cantlin even surprised her guests when she changed into a fun party dress during the reception!

It was such an amazing day, and it’s always weddings like these that remind me why I love what I do!
