Mitchell and Livia’s wedding at The Canopy and The Mayo Hotel was such a perfect day. The couple met on Bumble and went on their first date in 2017 at Dilly Diner. As for love at first sight it wasn’t for Livia but she enjoyed their date and wanted to get to know Mitchell better. Mitchell says that it was love at first sight for him as he saw her walking up the street in her black and white striped shirt.

As a couple, they both enjoy being outside on hikes and enjoying an evening walk with their dog, Rose. They are a very active couple and love to work out and be in nature. And while they love to get out, they are also homebodies and like to have relaxed nights watching Netflix or reading. If they are out, they love going to the different breweries with friends and exploring what Tulsa has to offer!

Mitchell proposed at Bartlet Square Fountain in 2020. The night began with dinner at Flemmings under the guise of celebrating Livia’s family’s 15 years in the states and finishing the night with drinks on the Mayo rooftop. As they walked towards the Mayo he pulled her towards the fountain and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes!

On their wedding day, Livia wore a stunning Made with Love gown. Her lovely bridesmaids wore assorted blush pink dresses that complimented all of the fun colors in their colorful bouquets. They had an intimate ceremony filled with their family and friends. After the ceremony, we had plenty of time for couples’ portraits around the city. The sunset sky lit up for them and provided the most stunning backdrop for their rooftop photos.

The reception at The Mayo Hotel, the same place Mitchell proposed, was the perfect location for their celebration. The party went on all night, and I know they will have so many wonderful memories to look back on. Guests traveled from near and far for this wedding, and you can just see everyone’s joy in every single picture! One of my favorite moments was during the first dance, where Livia’s father was beaming the whole time and recording the memory on his phone. I love portrait time with the couple, but nothing beats the joy & celebration at the reception.
