Forget everything Netflix has shown you about The Ozarks (IYKYK) because my husband & I found The Ozarks hidden gem and you absolutely need to know about it.

Micah and I just celebrated our seven year anniversary and of course, wanted to take a trip! We looked around at our options, but were stopped in our tracks when we came across this AirBNB listing.

At first, we were skeptical because it’s in Branson…here’s what probably comes to mind when you think of Branson:

While those things are definitely still in Branson, I feel like we found a beautiful escape from large chickens and goofy comedy shows. We spent a week in this beautiful tree house and I’m already dreaming of going back.

We decided on staying in each morning and cooking breakfast, which was perfect!

The BNB overlooks Table Rock Lake!

Fires each night were my personal favorite, paired with the quiet woods and a good book…take me back!

We saved so much money by cooking at home and honestly, it was so much nicer than going out each night! We played games, watched movies…they had everything we needed!

My friend Courtney just released a journal and I was so happy to have it along for the trip.

As we were planning our trip, Micah came across a golf cart tour around Top of The Rock…as goofy as it sounds, it was actually REALLY beautiful and fun to drive around together. Pro tip: take the earliest possible time! It filled up quickly as the morning passed.

Already planning your trip? We’re planning ours back! Maybe this is an annual thing now? 😂 Be sure to let me know if you go!

Plan your stay at the treehouse!

If you’re interested in venturing out of the house, here’s a few recommendations for you:
