When Katie and I first chatted on the phone, I knew instantly I would love her and Christian! I quickly learned that Christian was a youth pastor at their church and they would be entering ministry together – a lifestyle I live on a daily basis as Micah is full time at our church!

We chatted through wedding details, ministry, and before I knew it we were at their engagement session and they felt just like old friends!

As the wedding day approached, I was SO excited to see all the details and hard work come together (as always) but more importantly, I was excited to see the true joy between Christian + Katie as they became one before all their friends and family!

Their day originally had 90%+ chance of rain, but when the time came for us to start shooting there wasn’t a single drop of rain!!! We were able to get amazing portraits outside and the beautiful breeze made it EVEN better.

I also photographed my first ever paid wedding at this location, so it felt extra special to be back capturing another special wedding.

Christian surprised Katie with a box full of letters he had been writing to his future wife since before they met..HEART. MELT. 

Katie’s dad giving her a BIG hug as he saw her as a bride for the first time….so so special! 

First look time….allll the butterflies and heart eyes!  Christian graduated Oklahoma State University (go Pokes!) so Katie surprised him with orange in his bout! He was super excited as you can see! 

Christian has a way of getting Katie to smile in the sweetest way!!! I loved their portrait time!!!

Katie & Christian shared a special feet washing together. I LOVED being able to capture this. It definitely brought some tears!!! The pitcher and plate they used was from their recent trip to Israel…even more special!
