Years ago my sister and I signed up for a calligraphy + lettering workshop in OKC. Little did I know I would gain such a fun friend in the process! The workshop was co-hosted by none other than Alex Bray herself! I extended my hand if she ever needed help with photography or getting around Tulsa, to reach out and I would be more than happier to help out! Accepting the offer, one styled fun session, a trip to Seattle, and back around again…Alex is one of the sweetest business owners and PEOPLE that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!

When Alex let it slip to me that her & her sweet hubby Kent were expecting and needing sweet announcement photos, I squealed with excitement! It’s always so exciting to see your friends take on new adventures, especially those you know they’re going to be oh so amazing at.

On a rainy Oklahoma Monday, I headed over to The Bray’s sweet midtown home to snap some photos of this precious time. The home may not be their forever home, but it will be a home that holds this precious memory forever! I love the sweet snaps we were able to capture in the soft window light. Makes my photographer heart beat a little smoother!!

Alex is the ultimate lettering queen behind Prairie Letter Shop, so obviously her beautiful writing was included to break the exciting news to friends & loved ones!
